About the shop

Halime 4 Fishing is a dive and fishing shop in Mina, Tripoli. We have spent about ten years in the water off the North Lebanese coast, spearfishing, freediving and fishing, and the shop started from there.

We teach freediving and spearfishing in Tripoli and across North Lebanon. A course starts on land with breathing, equalisation and safety, then moves to the sea, and we keep the groups small so nobody is left waiting on the boat. People who have never put their head under start here. Divers who already shoot fish come to fix their equalisation, hold a longer breath, or learn how to buddy and get someone out of trouble.

The rest of what we do is gear. Spearguns, wetsuits, fins, masks, reels, floats, line, and the small parts that break the day before a dive. We sell what we use ourselves, so the advice comes out of the water and not out of a catalogue. Come by to be sized for fins and a suit, or send a message on WhatsApp and we confirm stock and price.

Diving on one breath is not a casual sport. We would rather sell you one good mask and teach you to use it than send you out loaded with gear and no training.
