1.2We handle personal data under Law No. 81 of 2018 on electronic transactions and personal data. We do not sell it.
02What this covers
2.1This policy covers this website, and the orders, course bookings and questions you send us on WhatsApp, by phone, by email or on social media.
03What we collect
3.1What you send us on WhatsApp. To order, you give us your name, your phone number (it comes with the chat), the delivery address and the gear you want. Anything else you write stays in the conversation.
3.2For courses. Before you go in the water we ask, in person, for what your safety and certification need: a medical declaration, your experience and an emergency contact. Health information is sensitive, and we use it only for your safety, with your consent.
3.3From the website. There is no account, checkout or cart, so the site asks you for nothing. When analytics is switched on, Google Analytics records the pages viewed, the device and browser, an approximate location and clicks on WhatsApp buttons, without your name or number.
3.4We never ask for card or bank details: you pay in cash.
04Why we use it
4.1To confirm and deliver your order, to collect payment, to run and certify your course, to answer questions, returns and warranty claims, to keep the records the law requires, and, in anonymous form, to understand how the site is used.
4.2We send offers only if you ask for them, and one message stops them.
07Data outside Lebanon
7.1WhatsApp, Google, Sanity and our web host run servers outside Lebanon, so some data is processed abroad. Each receives only what its service needs.
08How long we keep it
8.1Only as long as it is needed:
- order records: as long as Lebanese accounting and tax rules require;
- WhatsApp conversations: up to 24 months after your last order or question, unless you ask us to delete them sooner;
- course safety forms: for the course and the period in which a claim could be made, then destroyed;
- analytics: for the period set in Google Analytics, in a form that does not name you.
8.2After that we delete the data or make it anonymous.
09Keeping it safe
9.1The site is served over HTTPS and stores no customer data, and only the people who serve you read your messages. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach affects your data, we act to contain it and tell you where the law requires.
10Your rights
10.1Under Law No. 81 of 2018 you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it once we no longer need it, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time.
10.2Send the request on WhatsApp from the number you used with us, so we know it is you. We answer within 30 days.
11Children
11.1The site is not aimed at children. Orders and course bookings for anyone under 18 are made by a parent or guardian, who gives the details on their behalf.
12Changes
12.1If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects data you have already given us, we tell you first.
